Wedding Cakes
Our pastry Chef can help you determine your Wedding Cake Style
as the centerpiece of your reception. Your cake should represent the theme of your wedding and reflect your overall vision. Cake cost is determined by factors including complexity of overall design, materials used and size. The typical range is usually between 100 GBP and 250 GBP. No cake cutting fee will be incurred if your cake is made by Denizkizi. If you choose to bring your own cake a cake cutting fee of 1 GBP per slice will be incurred.

Are you a traditionalist in favor of roses or lilies, or do you favor a more contemporary floral theme incorporating grasses, fruits and herbs? Your wedding flowers are more than eye candy; they set the ambiance for the entire event. Your color scheme should flow directly from your desired style.
When the overall style and tone is determined you can move on the finer details including decisions on bouquets, boutonnieres, reception centerpieces and ceremony arrangements. Overwhelming? We know! Fortunately, we are here to guide you through this process so you can enjoy planning your wedding flowers without stress. We have professional local floral partners with on-site experience who will be happy to discuss your plans and bring them into fruition. Even the most creative and artistic bride will benefit from a florist's professional capabilities. Your wedding day will be full of activity, and you won't want to spend vital hours fumbling with the wiring of each bouquet. A florist is not necessarily a budget breaker and our floral partners will work within your budget.
Music & Entertainment
Weddings and music, the two have always gone hand in hand. And with modern weddings evolving into creative expressions of individuality, wedding music has become one of the most important components of your wedding. From the moment that guests file into your ceremony to the final foot-tapping moments of your wedding reception celebration, your wedding music has the power to set the tone and solidify the theme of your wedding.
To help you in the planning process consider breaking your event into certain components and how you wish to set the mood for each of those components. Consider a selection of songs for parts including but not limited to prelude, Bride’s entrance, first dance, cocktail hour and reception.
Denizkizi will offer you its portfolio of professional DJ or live musicians who have the expertise to set the perfect mood for your special day.
The typical fee range for a DJ for the duration of your event is usually around 100 GBP and for a two person live music band is 150 GBP to 250 GBP.
Photography and Video
Capturing your very special day on photograpy or video must be a vital part in your planning process. Denizkizi has partnered with Yucel Photo Studio, an expert in wedding photography and video, to provide you worry free timeless footage of your wedding.

Our reservations team can provide you with names of our recommended local hair stylists and make-up artists.

Policies
Periods & Hours of Scheduled Events
At Denizkizi, usual hours for Lunch Functions are between 12:00 and 16:00 in May, June, September and October. Lunch Functions are not accepted in July and August due to high temperatures and increased number of people at the beach.
Dinner Functions are usually held between 18:00 and 24:00, May to October. If you require the use of the venue outside of this time period extra charges may apply.
Wedding Coordinator
Denizkizi requires that you employ an outside professional/certified wedding coordinator for a minimum of two months to assist with your wedding arrangements including official registration with the office of the registrar in Kyrenia, ceremony, rehearsal and reception -- the resort must pre-approve your coordinator and their qualifications. The wedding coordinator will work with you to coordinate all aspects of your rehearsal and ceremony, and may assist with your vendors, as appropriate. Our reservations team can provide you with names of our recommended coordinators.
Deposit Schedule
To confirm your event, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the minimum estimated charges is due within 14 days of contract. Another payment of 50% of the minimum estimated charges is due 90 days prior to the event. Final payment of the estimated charges is due on the day of the event.
Minimum Guest Requirements
For an event Monday through Friday, the minimum guest count is 12 guests.
The minimum for Saturday and Sunday events are 25 guests.
If on the day of the event, your actual guest count is less than the established minimum guest count, then the established minimum guest count applies.
Food & Beverage Estimate
Based on your menu selections, the total food and beverage cost will vary. We recommend that you allow 40GBP to 50GBP per person for your event including beverages.
Food & Beverage Provisions
Denizkizi is the sole purveyor of all food and beverages for on-site events. It is Denizkizi’s policy that all alcoholic beverages are provided by the resort only. Should you require a special variety of beverage not available locally to be served during the event, a pre-determined service charge applies.
Venue
Denizkizi features a distinctive seaside setting, which is ideal for wedding ceremonies. A tile floored and pergola roofed venue surrounded by lush gardens at the footsteps of the Denizkizi beach can seat up to 150 guests. The venue can be arranged to include white satin cloth covered chairs, food buffet, a beverage bar, audio visual equipment including a wireless microphone for speeches, and amplifier and speakers for musicians.
